We support Kirsty, who has cerebral palsy, with 24-hour live-in care. With the help of her carer, Kirsty can stay connected to family, friends and the community, and can live the life she chooses.

We support Craig, who was born with microcephaly, with 24 hour live-in care including personal care, social activities such as going out, shopping, making food, etc, to live a more independent life in the community he loves.

We support Theresa at home, providing valuable companionship as well as help with chores and getting out and about for shopping or appointments. Our ultimate goal is to promote well-being and quality of life for everyone we support, and Theresa is full of praise for her wonderfully kind carers.

We started supporting Yvonne in 2021, following an operation that uncovered some undiagnosed cancers. She needed specialist help with parenteral nutrition for the first year, and we now help her with personal care, meal preparation, and daily living.

For Beryl, the visits from Alcedo’s carers have made such a difference – she gets companionship, help around the house and support to go to clubs and socialise.
